Economical solution - double sided, rigid, and strong positive inserts.
The CXMG 4 cutting-edged new insert can easily replace CCMT 2 and CNMG 4 cutting-edged inserts in both external and internal applications.
The CXMG insert is clamped in a dove-tail shaped pocket, ensuring better insert stability and tool life.
There are two sizes available: CXMG 1204.. for external applications and CXMG 0904.. for internal applications.

The standard holder for CNMG 1204 can be converted to LOGIQ for the eco-size CXMG 0904 inserts by replacing the lever and adding a cartridge that turns the holder into LOGIQ-4-TURN for the eco CXMG 0904.. size.
The new CXMG insert can easily replace the positive CCMT 2 cutting-edged and CNMG 4 cutting-edged in both external and internal applications.
The insert chip breaker is designed for semi-finishing and finishing operations.

Additionally, there are new small CXMU 06 inserts available to replace CCMT 06 inserts with 4 positive cutting edges.
The new LOGIQ-4-TURN insert is designed for external and internal turning with shanks that fit on Swiss machines.
All tools come with coolant-through direct to the cutting edge. External holder sizes include 12mm/.47" and 16mm/.63", while internal bar shanks are available in 08mm/.31", 10mm/.40", and 12mm/.50".
